It’s been worth the wait, because we’ve got 17 new upgrades and updates in Mapp Marketing Cloud. The release comes with improvements in mobile marketing, third-party connectivity, overall ease-of-use of the platform, and much more. All our latest additions have been designed to help marketers work smarter in these trying times.
Here’s a roundup of our new Summer features:
Target your app users in a particular geographical area through geo-fencing and send real-time push notifications. 3 out of 4 consumers complete an action after receiving a message when approaching a specific location – so adding geo-fencing to your mobile messaging strategy will be highly beneficial.
This new feature of Mapp Engage is particularly useful for retail brands, as you can encourage customers to visit your nearby store and trigger a purchase by sending them the latest news, special offers, and discount coupons.

Mapp’s Smart Alerts notify marketers and analysts whenever something noteworthy happens on their websites and apps. Now it’s even easier to create smart alerts with our new library! The library provides pre-defined templates for the most common alerts that should be monitored. Every alert also includes information about the possible reasons for the spike or drop, making it even easier to find an explanation for the shift.
Marketing automation is the key to nurturing prospects, converting them into customers, and then supporting long-term customer loyalty. It also allows you to prioritize and execute tasks in a more streamlined manner. However, you might still be struggling to find the most effective automated message, with questions like: Should I follow up with an email after 1 day or after a week? Should I use a mobile message with or without an image?
Mapp Engage now allows you to answer those types of questions by offering A/B testing of your marketing automation workflows. Your audience is split equally between each version at random, so you can uncover which automation workflow garners the best response.
Mapp’s campaign dashboards allow marketers to see campaign performance in a way you haven’t been able to before. And now our dashboards are even more easily accessible with the automatic login for Mapp Engage. Once you log into Engage, you are automatically logged into Mapp Intelligence. Along with that, data accuracy has also been improved, allowing the statistics shared between both platforms to match more precisely.

We have improved Mapp Marketing Cloud’s capabilities for interfacing with third-party systems. With the new Segment connector, you can now collect and exchange event data from your mobile apps, websites, and servers with one standardized API. Then push and pull data to and from Mapp Engage to enrich your customer profiles with additional insights. The expansion of our partner ecosystem provides marketers with increased flexibility in data exchange and personalization.
Mapp Marketing Cloud users can now examine and verify their system usage to ensure you are not exceeding any quotas based on the agreed broadcasting volumes. KPIs are always transparent to system users. This is especially helpful when our platform is used by different subsidiaries and departments of a company.
