What you will do:

We are looking for a Deliverability Specialist, based in the US. This remote position is part of our Deliverability Management team, a global team which is responsible for the support of our clients in all regions as well as providing guidance to various internal teams across all departments. The Deliverability team is the interface between Mapp, our clients and the ISPs / industry at large. As a Deliverability Specialist, you will help promote email industry best practices amongst our clients and along with our Customer Support and Account Management teams will provide clients with the strategies they need to succeed. You’ll help clients interpret their campaign results and assist with troubleshooting as needed. Your primary focus will be US-based clients, but you will work along with your European counterparts, to ensure all clients receive best in class service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define strategies and provide guidelines for both new customers onboarding to Mapp and existing customers expanding their marketing programs
• Provide incident handling, troubleshooting and service requests from clients via the Service Cloud ticketing system
• Actively monitor the network, ensuring client domain and IP health and provide remediation as needed
• Building and maintaining relationships with ISPs, filtering companies and associated industry groups
• Assist in the management of both direct (end user) and indirect (filtering/provider) complaints and concerns
• Analyzing client performance and providing proactive advice as well as reporting and presentations based on their metrics
• Cultivation of email industry best practices both in our clients and across Mapp itself
• Knowledge transfers with other Mapp teams, advising on industry updates and trends

The assets you bring to the team:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Fluency in both written and spoken English (other languages a plus)
• Working knowledge of the email industry, ESP/ISP community, industry groups / associations and toolsets such as those offered by Validity, etc.
• Proficiency in Deliverability strategies/procedures (managing IP and domain reputation, permission-based marketing, setup of feedback loops, remediation of spam traps/complaints, bounce management, etc.)
• Familiarity with email, networking, and security authentication standards (DNS, SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, etc.)
• Ability to breakdown complex technical information and communicate in a clear, concise non-technical manner
• Skilled in transformation of raw data into meaningful insights (Decks / Slides / Spreadsheets / Pivot Tables)
• Comfortable working in a remote position with a physically distributed team
